Zack Saint Alumni Game 2010

February 15th, 2008

We regret that due to a family scheduling conflict, we have to cancel the alumni game this year, 2009. We hope to be able to have it again in 2010. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Esther at alumnigame@gmail.com.

Thank you for your participation in the games the last 3 years.

Zack’s wall at the hospital

November 30th, 2007

I just found this today on my computer. Zack had asked me to print it out and bring it to the hospital for him. He had it on his bulletin board in the hospital for most of his three stays. I think he found a lot of strength in it. I know I do now.

“For whatever reason God chose to make man as he is, limited in suffering and subject to sorrows and death, he had the courage to take his own medicine. Whatever the game he is playing at with his creation, he has kept his own rules, and he has played fair. He can exact nothing from man that he has not exacted from himself. He has himself gone through the whole of human experience, from the trivial irritations of family life and the cramping restrictions of hard work and lack of money, to the worst horrors of pain and humiliation, defeat, despair, and death. When he was a man, he played the man, he was born in poverty and died in disgrace, and he thought it all worthwhile. Hallelujah, what a Savior!”

Alumni Game Thanks

June 25th, 2007

Thanks to everyone who helped/participated in the alumni game two weeks ago. We were so glad to see you all and hope to see you next year too!

We have unofficially raised over $2,000. Half will go toward the scholarship and half to the Twin Valley Soccer Club.

Note: Anyone who ordered T-Shirts – we will be getting the shirts in sometime this week and we will make sure they get to everyone who ordered one. Thank you for being patient with this process.

We will be posting photos from the games in the next week or so.
